About Us Welcome Motors of New Prague started in 1979 by Palmer Welcome and partner Harold Louisiana as a restoration shop for 1955-1957 Chevrolets. In 1986 Palmer went into the used car business and Harold started his own restoration business. We also are located in Fairmont, Minnesota at 1310 N. State St. (Hwy. 15, 1 mile south of I-90). Purchased in 1996 from Evelyn DeBoer and owned and operated by David Welcome.
